I just finished watching Mutant Socks from Outer Space, boy are Sam and Sid funny! It must be difficult to have to put down your eyeball every time you want to speak, but they make the best of it!

I really find it amazing when people and socks alike make the best out of a difficult situation. Take Sam and Sid for instance. They could get all riled up when they have to talk, but have their eyes is in the way. But they don’t! They are patient and always figure out how to solve the problem!
Next time you have a problem; do what Sam and Sid do. Take a moment to think about what you can do to solve it. Remain calm. Nothing can be solved by screaming and crying over the situation. Come up with a creative solution that makes everyone happy.

For example; if your brother has a ball you want, don’t just kick, scream and take it from him. Think about what you could do to make you both happy. Perhaps suggest a game the two of you can play together with the ball.

Remember there is always a solution!

Speaking of ball games, Professor Darning promised me he was going to teach me how to play tennis! Tennis is a game where you hit a bouncy ball over a net with a racket to another sock on the other side of the net. It looks like fun!
